CAN I MAKE A CUSTOM ORDER AND HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST?  

Due to my busy schedule, I am currently not taking any custom orders. So sorry!


WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?
I ship worldwide via Australia Post!


HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE? WHERE IS MY PARCEL?

I process orders within 1-3 business days as I want all of you to receive your goodies ASAP! Orders made on a Friday will be shipped on the next business day. Once I hand your parcel over to AUS Post, it is completely out of my control in terms of its delivery speed. If you live outside Australia, it generally takes around 2-5 weeks. If you live in Australia, it takes around 5-10 business days. As for letter posts, please note that this delivery option is untracked and uninsured, and may take up to 3 weeks to deliver. This estimation is also subject to change during public holidays like Christmas where postal carriers have to handle a massive load of mail and parcels tend to be stuck in customs for a longer period of time. Your patience is very much appreciated and I hope you receive your goodies much faster than that!


WHY DOES SHIPPING COST SO MUCH?

Shipping fees do not only include postal fees but also cover packaging costs. I put a lot of effort into making sure all goodies are packed nicely and safely so nothing is damaged in the course of delivery. All shipments, except letter posts, are trackable and prices are set by AUS Post and not of my control.


ISSUES WITH DELIVERY

Any issues with delivery such as lost parcel and damage on delivery may be eligible for compensation. If your item was damaged on delivery, please keep the original packaging as this is required evidence for any compensation to be issued. Contact me at theforestmori@gmail.com with your order number and any information I may need to recognise your issue with.

Missing attempted deliveries and ordering with the wrong shipping address will result in items being returned to The Forest Mori. In such instances, compensations will NOT be issued as it is the customers’ responsibility to provide a correct shipping address and to collect parcels within the given time provided by their allocated local post office. When the item/items have been successfully returned to The Forest Mori, customers will be informed via email and will have a choice between receiving a refund for the price of the items bought, or paying extra shipping fees for a second delivery. Please understand that returned goods may take over 1 month to be returned to sender. To avoid issues with delivery, please provide a correct shipping address when placing an order, and please refer to your tracking number so as to avoid missing deliveries.


I MADE AN ORDER ON A FRIDAY / PUBLIC HOLIDAY. WHEN WILL MY GOODIES BE SHIPPED?

Orders made on Fridays will be shipped first thing on Mondays! As for public holidays, I ship on the next business day. Don't worry, I like to ship as fast as possible.


I MADE AN ORDER ALREADY BUT WANT TO ADD THINGS TO IT. WHAT CAN I DO?

This only applies to orders that have not yet shipped.
If you have already made an order and would like to add more to it, simply place your second order and email me ASAP with your order numbers so I can refund you excess shipping fees. You should receive a refund notification via email once I have issued a refund.


I MISSED OUT ON AN ITEM I WANT, WILL YOU RESTOCK?

I update my shop once every 2 weeks and restock most of my handmade items! I also like to make each shop update different so there will always be an element of surprise. I always release product previews in the week leading up to each shop update so make sure you check my Instagram profile for more shop update info! Shop update date and time will be announced on there whenever I have new products ready.


Exchanges, Cancellations and Frauds

  • Product exchanges must be authorized via email with valid photo proof supporting the reasons to have to do so within 30 days of receiving order.

  • Order cancellations must be authorized via email within 24 hours of purchase.

  • If you didn’t buy from The Forest Mori but have found an unrecognized payment from my shop, please notify me via email as soon as possible. Sometimes this can occurs when a customer forgets about a purchase, or if an order was placed using a stolen credit card. Either way it is best to contact me first so I can respond to your concerns as soon as possible and issue you any necessary refunds immediately. Please avoid contacting your bank or credit card issuer before notifying me - because by doing so, you are not giving the seller an opportunity to respond and that is very damaging to small businesses like The Forest Mori.

  • No refunds or exchanges for a change of mind after an order is shipped.

  • If The Forest Mori finds credible reasons to believe that a transaction is fraudulent and is unable to receive any response from the customer within 3 business days, the transaction will be cancelled and an email detailing reasons behind the decision will be sent to the customer.
    (Factors that suggest fraudulence include fake email address used to make a purchase, inconsistencies in customer details across multiple purchases, many payments made with same card but different shipping address .etc)


DUTIES & TAXES

Any import duties and taxes are charged once the parcel has reached the destination country and these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges as customs policies vary by country. If you have any questions related to customs charges you are advised to contact your local customs
By law, we must declare all items at their full price and cannot alter this amount to decrease international custom fees.
